Senior Bridge Engineer
Chappell Engineering Associates, LLC, is an established multi-discipline consulting engineering firm located in Marlborough Massachusetts is looking for a structural engineer with 10+ years of experience. Candidate must be a registered PE and have DOT bridge design experience. Knowledge of structural bridge software and AutoCAD Civil 3D along with Microsoft Office is also required.

Field Survey Technician
Chappell Engineering Associates, LLC. is a progressive, multi-disciplined professional engineering and land survey firm. The work includes a wide range of surveying expertise including; existing conditions, boundary, right-of-way, highway layout, topographic, scanning surveys, and large-scale mapping. We utilize current technologies and futuristic techniques and encourage creative productivity. The company is currently in search of talented Surveyors to support on-going projects and meet our expected growth in the public and private sectors.
We have field positions available in our Marlborough MA office. We are specifically looking for experienced Field Survey Technicians, but are willing to train the right candidate without experience.
Qualifications – Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience using Robotic total station & electronic data collector. Experience with Carlson and Civil 3D is a plus. Candidates must have high school diploma, valid driver’s license with clean driving record, and good math and communication skills.

Traffic Engineer
Chappell Engineering Associates, LLC, is an established multi-discipline consulting engineering firm with an immediate opening for a traffic engineer with 0-5 years of experience. We are looking to grow our traffic engineering department and the position will be to assist our current manager in preparing traffic studies/documentation for private development projects and preparing permitting documentation for submission to municipalities and state agencies. The position will require excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Synchro and AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus along with Microsoft Office. Bridge Engineer II
Chappell Engineering Associates, LLC, is an established multi-discipline consulting engineering firm located in Marlborough, Massachusetts. We are looking for a structural engineer with at least 6 years of structural design experience. Candidate must be a registered PE in Massachusetts (or able to obtain their PE within a year) and have MassDOT bridge design experience. Knowledge of structural bridge software (AASHTOWare, Bentley, STRAP, etc.) and AutoCAD Civil 3D along with Microsoft Office is required. In the role of Bridge Engineer, you will design bridges with prestressed concrete and steel beams. As part of the design process, you will perform structural calculations, geometric layout calculations, quantity calculations and estimates, and write specifications and review calculations by other engineers.

​Environmental Engineer – Air Quality and Stormwater
Chappell Engineering Associates, LLC is an established multi-discipline consulting
engineering firm with an immediate opening for an environmental engineer with 1-3
years of experience. We are looking to grow our environmental engineering
department. The position will be to assist our current manager in preparing air permit
applications, environmental studies, record keeping and other annual reports,
developing stormwater pollution prevention plans and obtaining the required permits.
There will be some fieldwork associated with the job (mostly MA, NH, and RI sites).
There may be a need to represent clients at public hearings. The position will require
excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a
must. Knowledge of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection
(MassDEP), New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NH DES), and the
Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RI DEM) websites is a plus,
but not required.
